Actoid 10 Capsule 10 interacts with the following medicines:

• Vitamin A supplements: Concomitant use may lead to additive toxicity and severe hypervitaminosis A.
• Tetracycline antibiotics such as Doxycycline: Increased risk of raised intracranial pressure.
• Immunosuppressants such as Methotrexate: Enhanced risk of liver toxicity
• Anticonvulsants such as Phenytoin: May increase free phenytoin levels and toxicity.

Actoid 10 Capsule 10 interacts with the following foods:

• High-fat meals: May enhance absorption of Actoid 10 Capsule 10.

Actoid 10 Capsule 10 should be used with caution in patients with:

• Liver disorders: Actoid 10 Capsule 10 may elevate liver enzymes and worsen existing hepatic impairment, requiring close monitoring of liver function tests.
• Chronic alcoholism: Alcohol intake can increase liver toxicity and promote the formation of long-lasting metabolites of Actoid 10 Capsule 10, heightening the risk of adverse effects.
• Diabetes mellitus: Actoid 10 Capsule 10 may affect blood glucose control, necessitating regular monitoring and possible adjustment of antidiabetic therapy.
• Hyperlipidaemia: Actoid 10 Capsule 10 can increase serum triglyceride and cholesterol levels, potentially worsening pre-existing lipid abnormalities.
• Psychiatric disorders: Actoid 10 Capsule 10 may be associated with mood changes such as irritability, depression, or behavioural alterations, requiring careful observation.

If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it is close to the next scheduled dose. Skip the missed dose if necessary. Do not take a double dose.
