• Apply Cremagel 2% Gel gently inside and around the anus with a small amount on your finger or as your doctor instructs.
• Cremagel 2% Gel is solely for external use. Before and after applying, wash your hands. Wrap your fingers with cling film or a disposable glove to apply the medication. After use, throw away the finger covering.
• Keep Cremagel 2% Gel away from your mouth, ears, nose, eyes, and vagina. 
• To achieve the best results, continue using Cremagel 2% Gel for the term your doctor prescribes without interruption.

Cremagel 2% Gel is a medication administered topically, directly to the skin, typically to the area around the anal fissure.

• Cremagel 2% Gel is a topical medication used to treat anal fissures. The active ingredient in Cremagel 2% Gel is Diltiazem hydrochloride, which belongs to a class of medications known as calcium channel blockers.
• Calcium channel blockers block the influx of calcium ions into smooth muscle cells, including those in the anal sphincter. By minimising the concentration of calcium ions in these cells, Cremagel 2% Gel causes the muscle fibres to relax, reducing pressure on the anal fissure and promoting healing.
• Additionally, Cremagel 2% Gel has been shown to decrease anal sphincter pressure, which can help to reduce further pain and discomfort associated with anal fissures.

• Store this medicine at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Please protect it from light and moisture.

• Do not use Cremagel 2% Gel after the expiry date has passed.

• Manage stress: Stress can impact overall health and worsen certain medical conditions. Therefore, individuals using Cremagel 2% Gel should aim to manage stress through meditation, deep breathing, or yoga.
• Exercise, extended standing, and prolonged sitting ought to be avoided. 
• Drink more water, at least 7-8 glasses daily.
• Take daily relaxing baths or sitz baths for 10–20 minutes.
• Refrain from spending too much time sitting and straining on the toilet.

• Cremagel 2% Gel is an external preparation that prevents contact with the mouth, eyes, nose, and ears. In the event of an accident, thoroughly rinse with water.  
• Please avoid using this medication longer than prescribed, as it may raise the risk of side effects.
