Crocin Max Peppermint Flavour Suspension 60ml

Crocin Max Peppermint Flavour Suspension is used for managing mild to moderate pain and high body temperature in children. It is a paracetamol-based solution. This suspension is available in a pleasant flavour, making it easier to administer to young children. Paracetamol, the active ingredient, works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals in the body that contribute to pain and high body temperature. Reducing these chemicals helps lower body temperature and alleviate pain. 

• Paracetamol/ Acetaminophen (100 mg): Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, is a widely used medication recognised for its analgesic (pain-relieving) and antipyretic (fever-reducing) properties. This reduces the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals that play a crucial role in pain sensation and regulating body temperature. By lowering prostaglandin levels, paracetamol effectively reduces mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, muscle aches, and toothaches. It also helps regulate high body temperature, making it particularly useful in managing conditions like colds, flu, and other illnesses associated with high body temperature. 

• Manages Pain in Children: Crocin Max Peppermint Flavour Suspension may help manage pain caused by teething, earaches, and minor injuries. The paracetamol in this formulation inhibits pain-inducing chemicals, offering effective relief for mild to moderate discomfort in children.
   
• Relieves Headache and Migraine: It can help in managing mild to moderate headaches and migraines. Paracetamol may help decrease the intensity of pain signals sent to the brain and improve an individual's comfort.

• For children weighing 12-15 kg, the single dose is 1.8 to 2.3 ml.
• For children weighing 15 to 20 kg, the single dose is 2.3 to 3 ml.
• For children weighing 20 to 25 kg, the single dose is 3 to 3.75 ml.
• For children weighing 25 to 32 kg, the single dose is 3.75 to 4.8 ml.
• For children weighing 32 to 40 kg, the single dose is 4.8 to 6 ml.
• For 12 years and above, take 5-10ml/ single dose, 3-4 times a day. 
• Dosages are for reference only. Consult a doctor for advice. 
• Prefer a lower dose while rounding off during dose calculation. 
• Do not exceed 4000 mg/24 hours. 
• Calculated based on 15 mg/kg body weight.
• Dosage in children is always dosed by weight. Do not take more than 60 mg/kg in 24 hours, to be administered in 4 divided doses of 10-15 mg/kg. 
• Minimal dosing interval, 4-6 hours. Do not take for >3 days without consulting a doctor. Not to exceed the recommended dose. Use the smallest dose for the shortest period necessary.
• Use it as advised by a healthcare professional.

• Seek medical advice if a high body temperature persists after a second dose.
• For other indications, use only under medical advice. Paracetamol overdose may be injurious to the liver.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
• Protect from direct sunlight.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed.
• It should not be used with other Paracetamol-containing products.
• Always administer Crocin Max Peppermint Flavour Suspension as directed by a physician.
