CompositionZevert MD 16 Tablet is used to treat Ménière’s disease and associated inner ear balance disorders. It helps relieve key symptoms such as vertigo (spinning sensation), tinnitus (ringing in the ears), hearing loss, and associated nausea.
It contains betahistine, an analogue of histamine that works by improving microcirculation in the inner ear. This reduces fluid buildup and pressure in the inner ear chamber, helping to stabilize balance and prevent recurring vertigo episodes. Take the tablet as directed by your physician, with or after meals to minimise stomach upset.
Treatment is often maintained for several weeks or months to achieve optimal control of balance symptoms. Continue taking it as prescribed.
Before taking Zevert MD 16, inform your doctor if you have a history of peptic ulcers, bronchial asthma, or pheochromocytoma. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly without consulting your physician.
