Zenoxa 150 Tablet is used to treat partial seizures, generalized tonic–clonic seizures, and mixed seizure patterns. It stabilises nerve impulses and reduces abnormal electrical activity in the brain. The medicine must be taken under medical supervision to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Zenoxa 150 Tablet contains Oxcarbazepine (150 mg), which has the following effects on the body:

• Blockade of Voltage-Sensitive Sodium Channels: Oxcarbazepine blocks the voltage-sensitive sodium channels in your neurons. These channels play a key role in generating the electrical activity in your brain that can lead to seizures.

• Stabilisation of Hyper-Excited Neural Membranes: By blocking these sodium channels, Oxcarbazepine stabilises the hyper-excited neural membranes in the brain. This helps to calm down the excessive electrical activity that can cause seizures.

• Inhibition of Repetitive Neuronal Firing: The action of Oxcarbazepine also inhibits the repetitive firing of neurons. This reduces the likelihood of a seizure being triggered.

• Diminution of Propagation of Synaptic Impulses: Lastly, Oxcarbazepine reduces the propagation of synaptic impulses, further suppressing the abnormal electrical activity in your brain that triggers seizures.

• Store Zenoxa 150 Tablet in a cool, dry place, ideally below 30°C.

• Protect the medicine from light and moisture to maintain its efficacy.
