Witanthyl 100 MG Tablet 10 is used to help control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes, alongside diet and exercise, either on its own or with other diabetes medicines, helping to keep blood sugar steady and reduce the long-term risk of diabetes-related complications.

Uses of Vildaquest 100 Tablet are:

• Type 2 Diabetes: Helps control blood sugar when diet and exercise are not enough.

Follow these instructions while taking Witanthyl 100 MG Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly as advised by your doctor.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Witanthyl 100 MG Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Witanthyl 100 MG Tablet 10 contains vildagliptin (100 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• DPP-4 Enzyme Inhibition: Vildagliptin blocks an enzyme called dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4), which normally breaks down certain hormones in your body that help control blood sugar.

• Incretin Hormone Preservation: By blocking DPP-4, this medicine helps preserve natural hormones called incretins (GLP-1 and GIP) that are released from your intestines after eating food.

• Glucose-Dependent Insulin Release: The preserved incretin hormones stimulate your pancreas to release more insulin when your blood sugar is high, but not when it's normal, reducing the risk of low blood sugar.

• Glucagon Suppression: Vildagliptin helps reduce the amount of glucagon (a hormone that raises blood sugar) released from the pancreas, which decreases glucose production by the liver.
