Soliwax Ear Drops 10Ml

Soliwax Ear Drops are used to manage excess or hardened earwax buildup in the outer ear canal. The drops help soften and loosen impacted wax, making it easier to remove and relieving blockage-related symptoms. By clearing the ear canal, they help reduce discomfort such as itching, ear pain, a feeling of fullness, ringing sounds, and temporary hearing difficulty caused by wax obstruction.

Use Soliwax Ear Drops as suggested below:

• Ensure you've cleaned your hands thoroughly prior to use.

• Warm up the bottle in your hands for a minute or two before using it.

• While keeping your head tilted sideways, pull your outer ear upwards and backwards gently.

• Carefully instil 5-10 drops in the affected ear without touching the dropper tip to your ear.

• Insert a piece of cotton to hold the drops within your ear and lie on your side for 10–15 minutes.

Soliwax Ear Drops is instilled topically.

Soliwax Ear Drops comprise four active ingredients each playing a specific role:

• Paradichlorobenzene (2%): This ingredient acts as a cerumenolytic agent, reducing the thickness and hydrating the earwax. This enables the wax to soften and break down.

• Benzocaine (2.7%): As a topical anaesthetic, benzocaine numbs pain signals in the area providing relief from discomfort associated with wax impaction.

• Chlorbutol (5%): Besides assisting in softening the wax due to its cerumenolytic properties, chlorbutol also provides preservative effects.

• Turpentine Oil (15%): Acting as a lubricant, turpentine oil facilitates easy removal of the softened wax from the ear canal.

• Always store Soliwax Ear Drops at a temperature below 25°C.

• Keep the product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture.

• Make sure to keep Soliwax Ear Drops out of reach of children.

• If you experience persistent ear discomfort, avoid exposure to loud noises. This can potentially worsen your symptoms.

• Practise good ear hygiene to prevent excess build-up of earwax. However, avoid using cotton swabs or other items that may push the wax deeper into the ear canal.
