Viropil Tablet interacts with the following medicines:

• Anti-epileptic medicines: Medications like carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, phenobarbital, and phenytoin can reduce the blood levels of dolutegravir, one of the active ingredients in Viropil Tablet, potentially reducing its effectiveness.
• Tuberculosis (TB) medication: Rifampin, a TB medication, can also decrease dolutegravir levels in your body.
• Herbal supplements: St. John's wort, a herbal supplement often used for depression, can reduce the effect of dolutegravir due to its strong inducing properties.
• Antiviral medicines: Some antiviral medications like adefovir dipivoxil and cidofovir can increase the concentration of lamivudine or tenofovir, two other ingredients in Viropil Tablet, potentially increasing the risk of side effects.

Viropil Tablet has no known significant interactions with any food items.

Viropil Tablet interacts with the following diseases:

• Hepatitis B: If you have hepatitis B virus (HBV), stopping treatment with lamivudine or tenofovir, two components of Viropil Tablet, could lead to a serious flare-up of your hepatitis B.
• Kidney disease: If you have severe kidney problems or end-stage renal disease requiring dialysis, Viropil Tablet is not recommended as it may worsen your condition.
• Lactic Acidosis/Severe Hepatomegaly with Steatosis: If you have these conditions or develop symptoms suggesting them while on Viropil Tablet, treatment should be suspended as it could aggravate these conditions.

If you mistakenly take more than the prescribed dose of Viropil Tablet, you might experience symptoms like headache, insomnia, or fatigue. However, if these symptoms persist or become severe, it's important to inform your doctor.
