Veltam 0.2 Tablet is used in adult men with BPH for lower urinary tract symptom relief at the modified-release 0.2mg starting dose.

• BPH Urinary Symptoms: Relaxes the prostate and bladder neck muscles to ease difficulty starting urination, improve urine stream strength, and reduce urgency.
• Lower Starting Dose: The 0.2mg modified-release formulation provides a gentler initiation for patients beginning tamsulosin therapy.

Here's how you should take Veltam 0.2 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Ensure you do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Take it approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day, preferably breakfast.

• To avoid interfering with its extended-release properties, do not open the tablet under any circumstance.

• If you're just starting treatment or restarting after a break, take your first dose at bedtime to minimise dizziness and fainting risks.
