Urinac 25 Tablet 10

Urinac 25 Tablet is used to treat difficulty passing urine (urinary retention) that can occur after an operation or childbirth, or when the bladder muscle is weak and does not empty properly, helping the bladder squeeze and empty more effectively.

Uses of Urinac 25 Tablet are:

• Urinary Retention: Helps treat difficulty passing urine after surgery or childbirth.
• Weak Bladder Muscle: Helps the bladder empty when its muscle is underactive.
• Bladder Emptying: Helps the bladder squeeze more effectively.

Follow these steps when taking Urinac 25 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• To avoid nausea or vomiting, take the medication on an empty stomach, preferably one hour before or two hours after a meal.
• Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
• Always consult your doctor before discontinuing the medication.

Urinac 25 Tablet is taken orally.

Urinac 25 Tablet contains Bethanechol chloride (25 mg), a cholinergic agent that works in the following ways: 

• It stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system. This increases the tone of the detrusor urinae muscle, enabling effective bladder contraction and urinary flow. Additionally, it promotes gastric motility and enhances peristalsis, helping patients with gastrointestinal motility issues.

• Store Urinac 25 Tablet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed to prevent moisture exposure.
• Keep the medication out of reach of children.

• Maintain a balanced diet with adequate fibre intake to support healthy digestion.
• Stay hydrated to support urinary health and prevent dehydration.
• Avoid alcohol and smoking, as they may interfere with bladder function.
• If you experience dizziness, avoid strenuous activities and rest adequately.
