CompositionTranefit ET Tablet is a medicine used to control heavy menstrual bleeding and dysfunctional uterine bleeding. It helps reduce excessive blood loss and manage fatigue and weakness linked to heavy periods.
It contains tranexamic acid and ethamsylate, which work together to reduce bleeding by supporting normal blood clotting and strengthening blood vessels. Take it as prescribed, usually during your menstrual period, with or without food.
Along with the medicine, eat iron-rich foods such as leafy greens and pulses to help replace blood loss, and rest adequately on heavy bleeding days.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have a history of blood clots, kidney problems, or are taking other medicines, including blood-thinning medicines. Contact your doctor if you notice sudden leg swelling, chest pain, or breathlessness, as these need urgent attention.
