Thirozex 125 MCG Tablet 120 is used for the following:

• Treatment of hypothyroidism

• Replacement therapy after thyroid gland removal

• Management of enlarged thyroid glands

• Treating certain types of thyroid cancer

• Restoring normal energy levels in thyroid deficiency

• Supporting proper metabolism in hypothyroid patients

• Hormone replacement in thyroid dysfunction

Follow these instructions while taking Thirozex 125 MCG Tablet 120:

• Take this medicine daily on an empty stomach.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Take it in the morning, 30-60 minutes before breakfast.

• Keep a gap of at least 4 hours between this medicine and supplements.

Thirozex 125 MCG Tablet 120 contains Thyroxine (125 mcg), which works on the body as follows:

• Hormone replacement: Thyroxine is a synthetic version of the naturally occurring thyroid hormone (T4) that replaces missing thyroid hormones in the body, restoring normal energy levels and metabolism in patients with hypothyroidism.

• Metabolic regulation: It helps control how quickly your body uses energy, affecting nearly every organ in your body, including how your heart beats and how your digestive system works.

• TSH suppression: In cases of thyroid cancer, thyroxine reduces the secretion of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) from the pituitary gland, which can slow down the growth of thyroid tumours dependent on this hormone.

• Goitre reduction: By providing adequate thyroid hormone levels, it reduces the stimulation of the thyroid gland, helping to decrease the size of an enlarged thyroid (goitre).
