Telzox CH Tablet is used to control high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults and to help protect the heart and kidneys. Keeping blood pressure under control lowers the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney problems.
It combines an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), which relaxes the blood vessels, with a thiazide-like diuretic, which helps the body remove excess salt and water. Take it as prescribed, and continue taking it even when you feel well, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms.
Reducing salt in your diet, staying physically active, maintaining a healthy weight and limiting alcohol intake support better blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor about any kidney problems, gout or diabetes, and about other medicines you take. Avoid this medicine during pregnancy. Regular blood tests may be needed to check your kidneys and body salts. Report marked dizziness, fainting or muscle cramps to your doctor.
