Telmisartan (40 Mg)

Telsmear 40 Tablet 10 is used to manage hypertension (high blood pressure) and to protect the heart and kidneys in patients at high risk of cardiovascular disease. It provides consistent 24-hour blood pressure control, ensuring that your heart doesn't have to work as hard to pump blood throughout the body.
This medication contains Telmisartan, an Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB). It works by blocking a natural chemical that causes blood vessels to tighten. By allowing the vessels to remain wide and relaxed, the pressure of the blood against the artery walls decreases, significantly lowering the risk of a future stroke or heart failure.
Take this tablet once daily at the same time, with or without food. It is important to continue this medication even if you feel perfectly fine, as high blood pressure often has no warning signs.
