Telma 80 H Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and reducing fluid retention in the body. This helps lower blood pressure and decrease the strain on the heart. By improving blood flow, it also reduces the risk of heart disease, stroke, and kidney damage.

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

Telma 80-H Tablet is taken orally. 

Telma H Tablet contains the following components:

• Telmisartan (80 mg): It is an active angiotensin II antagonist which relaxes blood vessels. It does so by blocking the action of a substance that narrows blood vessels, allowing them to dilate and reduce blood pressure.
• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): It is a diuretic that promotes the elimination of excess water and salt from the body through urine. It aids in lowering blood pressure by reducing the overall fluid volume.
• The combination of telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide in the Telma H Tablet works synergistically to control hypertension. Telmisartan acts on blood vessels, while hydrochlorothiazide helps remove excess fluid, contributing to an overall antihypertensive effect.

The storage instructions for the Telma 80-H Tablet are as follows:

• Telma 80-H Tablet should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Reduce your salt intake, as excessive sodium can raise blood pressure. Opt for fresh, unprocessed foods and use herbs and spices for flavour instead of salt.
• Adopt a well-rounded diet with abundant fruits, vegetables, grains, lean proteins, and low-fat dairy products. This dietary approach supports maintaining a healthy weight and contributes to the promotion of lower blood pressure.
• Involve yourself in regular physical activities, such as walking, swimming, or cycling. Aim for 150 minutes of weekly exercise to help lower blood pressure.
• Practice stress-reduction techniques like meditation, deep breathing exercises, or yoga to manage stress, which can contribute to hypertension.
• Reduce alcohol consumption and cut back on caffeine, which can influence blood pressure. Limit alcohol to moderate levels and avoid excessive caffeine intake.
