Telapp 40 MG Tablet 10 is used to control high blood pressure and reduce cardiovascular risk in adults.

Uses of Telistar 40 Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure.
• Cardiovascular Protection: Helps reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in high-risk adults.

The directions for the use of Telapp 40 MG Tablet 10 are as follows:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Take it at the same time each day for best results.

Telapp 40 MG Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Telapp 40 MG Tablet 10 contains telmisartan (40 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Angiotensin II Receptor Blockade: Telmisartan selectively blocks the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor in your body, preventing this hormone from causing blood vessels to narrow.

• Vasodilation Effect: By blocking angiotensin II, this medicine causes your blood vessels to widen (dilate), which helps reduce blood pressure.

• Reduced Aldosterone Production: Telmisartan decreases the secretion of aldosterone, a hormone that increases sodium and water retention in your kidneys, thereby helping lower blood pressure.

• Decreased Peripheral Resistance: The medicine reduces the resistance in your blood vessels, making it easier for blood to flow through them, which contributes to lowering blood pressure.

• Store the tablet at room temperature between 15°C and 30°C.

• Keep the tablets in their original packaging.

• Protect from light and moisture.

• Store in a safe place away from the reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Limiting sodium in your diet helps manage high blood pressure (hypertension). Try using herbs and spices instead of salt to flavour your food.
