Tah 80 Tablet is used to control high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults when two medicines alone are not enough, combining three medicines that lower blood pressure through different mechanisms.
It combines telmisartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes the blood vessels; amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker; and hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic that removes excess fluid. Take it as prescribed, and keep taking it even when you feel well, as stopping suddenly may cause your blood pressure to rise again.
Reducing salt in your diet, staying active, keeping to a healthy weight and limiting alcohol support better blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any kidney problems, gout or diabetes, and about other medicines you take. It is not suitable in pregnancy. Report swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, muscle cramps, or dizziness on standing to your doctor promptly.
