T Minic Orange Flavour Syrup 60ml

T-Minic Syrup is used to relieve common cold symptoms in children, such as sneezing, watery eyes, and a runny nose. It effectively clears nasal congestion and respiratory discomfort caused by allergies. This orange-flavored syrup helps children breathe more easily and sleep better during a cold or allergy flare-up.

Administer T-Minic Syrup to your child as follows:

• Use an accurate measuring device to determine the correct dose of syrup.
• The medicine can be given to your child with or without food.
• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If your child has diabetes, consult your doctor before giving them this medicine.
• Remember to keep the bottle well-capped after use.
• Do not use it beyond 7 days, unless recommended by your doctor.

T-Minic Syrup is given orally to your child.

T-Minic Syrup contains two active ingredients that work in harmony to manage the symptoms of colds and allergies:

• Phenylephrine (5 mg): This ingredient acts as a decongestant by stimulating alpha-1 receptors in the nasal mucosa. This leads to vasoconstriction or shrinking of blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion. As a result, breathing becomes easier for your child, providing relief from a stuffy nose.

• Chlorpheniramine (2 mg): This antihistamine works by blocking histamine at H1 receptors. Histamine is a substance produced by the body during an allergic reaction, causing symptoms like sneezing, itching, and a runny nose. By antagonising histamine, chlorpheniramine effectively reduces these symptoms.

• Store T-Minic Syrup at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed and protect it from light.

• Ensure that the medicine is out of reach for children.

• Make sure you use the syrup before its expiry date.

• Discard any unused syrup after six months of opening the bottle.

• Encourage your child to drink plenty of fluids. Hydration can help thin mucus in the nasal passages and make it easier for your child to breathe when they have a cold or allergic rhinitis.

• Limit your child's exposure to allergens. If your child suffers from allergic rhinitis, try to keep them away from potential allergens like dust, pollen, or pet dander which could trigger their symptoms.
