ST-gliptin Dapa Tablet is an oral combination medicine used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, along with a healthy diet and regular exercise.
It contains sitagliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases insulin release and decreases glucagon secretion in a glucose-dependent manner, helping lower blood sugar levels, and dapagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor that reduces the reabsorption of glucose by the kidneys, allowing excess glucose to be excreted in the urine.
Take this tablet once daily at the same time each day, with or without food, exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Drink plenty of fluids and maintain good genital hygiene to help reduce the risk of dehydration and genital infections.
Before starting treatment, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, a history of pancreatitis, frequent urinary tract or genital infections, or low blood pressure.
