Snapit Tablet is used for the acute treatment of migraine attacks, with or without aura. It provides rapid relief from intense throbbing headaches, nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound. By addressing both the pain and the underlying inflammation associated with migraines, it helps patients return to their normal routine more quickly.
This medication contains a combination of Sumatriptan and Naproxen. Sumatriptan belongs to a class called triptans, which work by narrowing blood vessels in the brain and blocking pain pathways. Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces the chemicals causing inflammation and pain. Together, they provide a more powerful and longer-lasting effect than either drug used individually.
This tablet should be taken as soon as the first signs of a migraine appear. It is not intended for the prevention of migraines or for the treatment of other types of headaches. Consult your healthcare provider if you have high blood pressure or a history of heart disease before using this medication.
