• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Sitapride-M 100/500 Tablet comprises two key active ingredients:

• Sitagliptin (100 mg): This component is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor. It slows down the inactivation of incretin hormones in your body. By doing so, sitagliptin prolongs the action of these gut-derived peptides on the pancreas, increasing insulin release and decreasing glucagon secretion in a glucose-dependent manner. This action helps lower your blood sugar levels only when they are elevated.

• Metformin (500 mg): As part of the biguanide class of antihyperglycemics, metformin works by suppressing the production of glucose by the liver.
