Sensodent K Dental Cream is used to manage dentin hypersensitivity, localised gum irritation, and sharp oral pain associated with conditions such as tooth decay and receding gums. It features specialised desensitising active ingredients. This dental medication works by building a resilient protective coating over exposed microscopic dentinal tubules to calm nerve endings. The dental cream effectively eliminates pain from thermal triggers to improve eating comfort, so use it as advised by your dentist.

• Potassium Nitrate BP 5% w/w: It is commonly used in dental care, particularly for its ability to alleviate tooth sensitivity. It works by calming the nerves in the teeth. It diffuses into the tooth’s tubules, where it helps block the transmission of pain signals from the surface of the tooth to the nerve.
