S Amloking 5 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Managing high blood pressure in adults

• Treating angina pectoris (chest pain)

• Reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes

• Improving exercise tolerance in angina patients

• Decreasing frequency of angina episodes

• Lowering peripheral vascular resistance

• Relieving symptoms of coronary artery disease

• Managing hypertension as initial therapy

Follow these instructions while taking S Amloking 5 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• You can take it with or without food.

• Morning administration is often preferred.

• Do not suddenly stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

• If you experience severe side effects, consult your doctor.

S Amloking 5 Tablet 10 contains s-amlodipine (5 mg), which works on the body in the following ways:

• Calcium Channel Blockade: S-amlodipine blocks special channels (called calcium channels) in the walls of blood vessels and heart muscle, preventing calcium from entering the cells.
