RozaGold 10 Capsule 10 is used to lower cholesterol and prevent blood clots in adults who have had a heart attack, unstable chest pain, stroke, or procedures such as coronary angioplasty (PTCA) or bypass surgery (CABG). It is a combination medicine containing rosuvastatin 10mg (a statin), aspirin and clopidogrel (both antiplatelets).
The statin lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol and helps stabilise fatty deposits in the arteries, while the two antiplatelets stop blood cells from sticking together to form clots. Take it preferably after a meal, as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop it suddenly, as this can raise the risk of a clot.
Following a heart-healthy diet, staying active within your limits, keeping a healthy weight and avoiding tobacco help protect your arteries. Take care with activities that could cause cuts or bruises.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have a stomach ulcer or bleeding, a bleeding disorder, liver or kidney disease, muscle problems, or aspirin-sensitive asthma, and about other medicines you take. Do not take it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell any doctor or dentist that you take it before surgery or procedures. Seek medical help straight away if you have heavy or uncontrolled bleeding, black stools, unexplained muscle pain or weakness, or dark urine. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
