Trivolib Forte 1 Tablet is used for the following:

• Improving blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Lowering elevated blood glucose levels

• Reducing the absorption of glucose from meals

• Enhancing the effectiveness of insulin in the body

• Minimising the risk of diabetes-related health complications

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet as it may affect its effectiveness.

Trivolib Forte 1 Tablet is taken orally.

Trivolib Forte 1 Tablet consists of three active ingredients, each with a different mechanism of action:

• Glimepiride (1 mg): This component stimulates the pancreas to produce more insulin. Insulin is a hormone that helps your body absorb glucose from the blood, thereby reducing blood sugar levels.

• Metformin (500 mg): Metformin decreases the amount of glucose produced by the liver, reduces the absorption of glucose from food in the stomach, and improves the body's response to insulin. This helps lower the overall blood glucose levels.

• Voglibose (0.3 mg): Voglibose works by slowing down the digestion of carbohydrates in the diet, thereby reducing the rise in blood sugar after meals.

• Store Trivolib Forte 1 Tablet at room temperature, preferably around 25°C.
