Rosuvastatin (5 Mg)

Strength:

Rosuson 5 Tablet 10 is used to treat high cholesterol (dyslipidaemia) in adults, lowering harmful LDL cholesterol and triglycerides and raising HDL cholesterol, to slow fatty plaque build-up and lower the risk of heart attack and stroke.

It contains rosuvastatin, a statin. It works in the liver to reduce the cholesterol the body makes and to help clear harmful LDL cholesterol from the blood.

Take it once a day, with or without food, at the same time each day, and keep taking it even when your cholesterol looks normal.

Do not use it in pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Tell your doctor about any liver or kidney problems before use. Contact your doctor straight away about unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness, especially with a fever or dark urine.
