Composition

Ambroxol (15 Mg) + Guaifenesin (50 Mg) + Salbutamol (1 Mg)

Respira Expectorant is used to relieve a cough with thick mucus and chest congestion in conditions such as bronchitis, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It loosens phlegm and makes breathing easier.

It combines an expectorant that thins mucus so it can be coughed up, with a bronchodilator that relaxes the airway muscles to improve airflow.

Take it exactly as prescribed, with or without food, using the measuring cup provided. Drinking plenty of fluids helps loosen mucus.

Tell your doctor about any heart problems, high blood pressure or overactive thyroid before use. Report a fast heartbeat, tremor or marked restlessness.

Respira Expectorant is used to relieve a chesty cough with congestion.

Uses of Respira Expectorant are:

Chest Congestion: Loosens and thins mucus to help clear the chest.
Bronchitis: Eases cough and congestion in bronchitis.
COPD: Helps manage cough and mucus build-up in COPD.

Respira syrup can be taken with or without water as per the recommendation of a doctor.
Shake the bottle well before using syrup; always use a measuring cup to consume the advised dose.
Taking the complete recommended dosage or course of treatment is essential.

Respira syrup should be administered orally.

Respira Expectorant may cause some side effects that are usually mild and go away as your body adjusts to the medicine.

A few common side effects of Respira Expectorant:

Digestive: Feeling sick (nausea), vomiting, loose motions (diarrhoea) and stomach pain.
Cardiovascular: Palpitations, tremor and restlessness in some people.
Nervous System: Dizziness and headache.

Ambroxol (15 mg): Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that assists in the breakdown and clearance of mucus from the respiratory tract. It works by increasing the production of pulmonary surfactant, a substance that reduces the viscosity of mucus. This helps to facilitate the removal of excess mucus from the airways, making coughing more productive and relieving congestion.
Guaifenesin (50 mg): Guaifenesin is an expectorant that helps manage respiratory conditions with excessive mucus production. It functions by thinning and loosening the mucus secretions, thereby promoting their elimination from the airways. This action aids in relieving congestion, facilitating productive coughing, and improving overall respiratory function.
Salbutamol (1 mg): Salbutamol is a bronchodilator belonging to the category of beta-2 adrenergic agonists medicine. It acts by relaxing the smooth muscles lining the airways, which helps to widen the bronchial passages and improve airflow. Salbutamol relieves symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness associated with asthma and COPD by reducing bronchoconstriction (narrowing of airways causing breathing difficulties) and facilitating easier breathing.

Pregnancy
