Respira Expectorant is used to relieve symptoms of respiratory conditions such as bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps loosen thick mucus and clear chest congestion, making breathing easier.
It works as an expectorant that thins mucus so it can be coughed up more easily. Take it exactly as prescribed, with or without food, using the measuring cup provided.
Drinking plenty of fluids throughout the day can help loosen mucus further and support the effect of this medicine. Avoiding smoking and exposure to smoke or dust can also help ease chest congestion.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any heart, kidney or liver problems, or are taking other medicines. Contact your doctor if your cough persists for more than a week, or if you notice a fever, rash, or persistent headache during treatment.
