Rabiplus D Capsule is used for acid-related conditions with reflux or nausea symptoms.

Uses of Rabiplus D Capsule are:

• GERD: Relieves heartburn, acid regurgitation, and reflux-related discomfort.
• Acid-related Ulcers: Supports healing of stomach or duodenal ulcers when prescribed.
• Nausea and Slow Stomach Movement: Improves stomach emptying and helps control associated nausea or vomiting.

Here are some instructions on how to take RabiPlus-D Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.
• For best results, take this medicine before a meal.
• Stick to the dose prescribed by your doctor and do not alter it without consulting them.
• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But, if it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Never double up on doses to compensate for a missed one.
• Do not stop taking RabiPlus-D Capsule abruptly; always consult your doctor before making changes to your medication plan.

RabiPlus-D Capsule is taken orally.

RabiPlus-D Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Domperidone (30 mg): This is a dopamine antagonist that possesses antiemetic and prokinetic properties. It works by blocking dopamine receptors in certain areas of your body such as the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) and the gastrointestinal tract. By blocking these receptors, domperidone helps prevent nausea and vomiting, enhances the movement of food through the stomach, increases pressure in the lower oesophagus, and promotes stomach emptying.
• Rabeprazole (20 mg): This component falls under proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). Its function is to suppress gastric acid secretion by specifically inhibiting an enzyme system called H+/K+ ATPase (proton pump) present at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells. This action increases the pH inside your stomach, which provides relief from acid-related symptoms and promotes ulcer healing.

• Store RabiPlus-D Capsule in a cool, dry place away from direct heat or light.
• The ideal temperature for storage is below 25°C.
• Always ensure the medicine is kept out of the reach and sight of children.
• Be mindful to use RabiPlus-D Capsule before its expiry date.
