Rabalkem-LS Capsule is used in adults to treat acid reflux, indigestion and heartburn caused by excess stomach acid and slow stomach emptying.

Uses of Rabalkem-LS Capsule are:

• Acid Reflux (GERD): Reduces excess stomach acid and prevents irritation of the food pipe (oesophagus).
• Indigestion and Heartburn: Relieves symptoms of indigestion, heartburn and persistent burping.
• Functional Dyspepsia: Improves stomach emptying to relieve bloating and stomach discomfort after eating.

To take Rabalkem-LS Capsule correctly, follow these steps:

• Follow the dosage and timing instructions provided by your doctor precisely.
• Do not change or exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.
• Consult your doctor before discontinuing the medication; do not stop taking it without their guidance.
• Adhere to the dietary recommendations given by your doctor.

Rabalkem-LS Capsule is taken orally.

Rabalkem-LS Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Levosulpiride (75 mg): This ingredient acts on your body's gastrointestinal tract by enhancing its tone and motility. Basically, it boosts the movement of food through your stomach and intestines. This helps in reducing symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and bloating. Levosulpiride also prevents vomiting, making it beneficial in managing symptoms of functional dyspepsia and diabetic gastroparesis.
• Rabeprazole (20 mg): As a proton pump inhibitor, rabeprazole works by permanently blocking a system in your stomach's gastric parietal cells known as the hydrogen/potassium adenosine triphosphatase enzyme system (or simply 'proton pump'). By doing so, it inhibits the secretion of gastric acid in your stomach. This action aids in managing acid-related disorders like GERD and peptic ulcers, promoting healing and providing symptom relief.
