Prexol 0.50 Tablet is a medicine used to manage symptoms of Parkinson's disease, including motor stiffness, tremors, and movement difficulties. It is also prescribed for Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS), a condition causing an irresistible urge to move the legs accompanied by uncomfortable sensations.
It contains pramipexole, a dopamine agonist medicine. Take the tablet orally with or without food as prescribed by your doctor. Taking it with food may help reduce nausea. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly, as doing so can worsen your symptoms.
Maintaining physical therapy routines, staying active, practicing mild leg stretching before bedtime for RLS, and avoiding alcohol support symptom control alongside your medication.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, low blood pressure, severe heart conditions, or sleep disorders. Report unusual drowsiness, seeing or hearing things that are not there (hallucinations), severe leg swelling, or impulse control changes (such as unusual gambling or shopping urges) to your doctor.
