Predniheal 10 Tablet is used to treat various inflammatory, allergic and autoimmune conditions affecting different parts of the body.

Predniheal 10 Tablet 10 contains prednisolone (10 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Binding to glucocorticoid receptors: Prednisolone attaches to specific receptors inside your cells, forming a complex that travels to the cell nucleus and influences gene activity to reduce inflammation.

• Suppressing inflammatory mediators: It blocks the production of substances that cause inflammation, including prostaglandins and cytokines (chemical messengers that trigger inflammation).

• Inhibiting phospholipase A2: This enzyme plays a key role in producing inflammatory substances. By blocking it, prednisolone reduces the release of arachidonic acid, which is needed for inflammation to occur.

• Modulating the immune system: It suppresses T cell function (a type of white blood cell important for immunity) and reduces the production of antibodies (proteins that help fight infections).

• Decreasing inflammatory cell migration: Prednisolone prevents inflammatory cells from moving to affected tissues, helping to reduce swelling and discomfort.
