Potasky Injection 10Ml

Potasky Injection 10ml is used to treat potassium deficiency (hypokalaemia) when oral intake isn't possible. It helps restore normal potassium levels, supporting muscle function and heart rhythm.

Potasky Injection 10ml is administered intravenously (IV) as an injection.

• The main therapeutic activity of potassium chloride in Potasky Injection 10ml  is to restore or maintain the appropriate potassium levels in the body. 
• When administered as an injection, potassium chloride rapidly delivers potassium directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. It is particularly useful when oral potassium intake is not feasible or when immediate replenishment is necessary.
• By restoring the potassium levels in the body, Potasky Injection 10ml helps correct or prevent hypokalemia (low potassium levels). It helps normalise the balance of electrolytes in the body to support proper physiological functioning.

• Store Potasky Injection 10ml at a temperature of 30 ºC. Do not freeze it.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Potasky Injection 10ml away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.
• Do not store opened single-dose vials for later use. Discard unused portions.

• Incorporate foods high in potassium into your diet. Consuming a variety of fruits and vegetables is generally recommended. Good sources include bananas, oranges, avocados, spinach, broccoli, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, beans, lentils, and yoghurt. Remember not to consume too much potassium-rich food while taking Potasky Injection 10ml to prevent overdose. 
• Drink sufficient amounts of water throughout the day to support overall hydration.
• Reduce your intake of processed and packaged foods, as they often contain high sodium. Instead, opt for fresh, whole foods prepared at home.
• Both alcohol and caffeine can increase urine output, leading to potassium loss. Limit your consumption of alcoholic beverages and caffeinated drinks.
