Phexin Suspension contains cephalexin (250 mg) which works in the body through the following mechanisms:

• Inhibits Bacterial Cell Wall Synthesis: Cephalexin acts by blocking a crucial process required for building bacterial cell walls. It targets specific proteins called penicillin-binding proteins which are involved in creating a significant part of bacterial cell walls called peptidoglycan.

• Causes Bacterial Cell Lysis: By disrupting cell wall synthesis, cephalexin causes what's known as cell lysis – basically, it makes the bacterial cells break open and die.
