Parmiox 0.5 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of Parkinson's disease

• Managing tremors and stiffness in Parkinson's disease

• Reducing movement difficulties in Parkinson's patients

• Managing Restless Legs Syndrome

• Decreasing uncomfortable leg sensations

• Controlling dopamine deficiency symptoms

• Helping with muscle rigidity

• Supporting brain chemical balance in movement disorders

Follow these instructions while taking Parmiox 0.5 MG Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly as advised by your doctor.

• Never stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Parmiox 0.5 MG Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Parmiox 0.5 MG Tablet 10 contains pramipexole (0.5 mg), which acts on the brain in the following ways:

• Dopamine Receptor Stimulation: Pramipexole attaches to and activates dopamine receptors in the brain, particularly the D2 and D3 subtypes, mimicking the effects of dopamine which is not present in Parkinson's disease.

• Neurotransmitter Balance: It helps restore the balance of chemical messengers in areas of the brain that control movement and coordination, improving motor function in patients with Parkinson's disease.

• Central Nervous System Effects: Pramipexole reduces the uncomfortable sensations in the legs and decreases the urge to move them, providing relief for people with Restless Legs Syndrome.
