Osarten Trio Tablet 10 is used for the following health conditions:

• Reduces the risk of high blood pressure complications such as heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, and vision problems.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Osarten Trio Tablet 10 combines three active ingredients that work together through different mechanisms to manage high blood pressure:

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): This thiazide-like diuretic increases the excretion of sodium and water from your body, reducing total blood volume and cardiac output, which helps achieve lower blood pressure.
• Cilnidipine (10 mg): Cilnidipine is a long-acting dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker, which relaxes the smooth muscles in your blood vessel walls, causing them to widen or dilate, thereby reducing the blood pressure.
• Olmesartan Medoxomil (20 mg): This angiotensin II receptor blocker prevents the strong blood vessel constricting effects of angiotensin II by selectively blocking its binding to receptors in the vascular smooth muscle, leading to dilation of blood vessels and lower blood pressure.
