Optidoz Tablet is used in adults to manage high blood pressure, particularly when it is not adequately controlled by a single blood pressure medicine alone.

Uses of Optidoz Tablet are:

• Combination Blood Pressure Control: Provides added blood pressure control when one medicine alone is not enough.

Here's how you should take Optidoz Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.

• You can take Optidoz Tablet with or without food.

• Remember not to exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor. The dosage should be strictly as prescribed by your doctor.

Optidoz Tablet contains three active ingredients that work together to reduce blood pressure:

• Amlodipine (2.5 mg): This is a calcium channel blocker that eases the blood vessels, making it simpler for your heart to pump blood. It achieves this by preventing calcium from entering the smooth muscle cells of the heart and blood vessels.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (6.25 mg): As a thiazide diuretic, this ingredient aids the kidneys in removing excess water and salt from your body. This reduces the volume of blood in the vessels, which in turn lowers blood pressure. It also appears to ease blood vessels, reducing blood pressure further.

• Telmisartan (20 mg): This ingredient is an angiotensin II receptor blocker that stops the hormone angiotensin II from binding to receptors in the blood vessels. This causes the blood vessels to relax, lowering blood pressure and making it easier for the heart to pump blood.

• Store Optidoz Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.
