Onitraz Capsule is an antifungal medicine used to treat fungal infections affecting the mouth, throat, vagina, skin, nails, and other parts of the body. It works by damaging the fungal cell membrane, stopping the fungus from growing.
It contains itraconazole and is commonly prescribed for oral thrush, vaginal candidiasis, ringworm, and nail fungal infections. Take this capsule exactly as prescribed and for the full duration advised by your doctor, preferably with food.
Keeping the affected area clean and dry, wearing loose, breathable clothing, and avoiding sharing personal items such as towels can help prevent the infection from spreading or coming back.
Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor about any liver problems or other medicines you are taking. Contact your doctor if you notice yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, or persistent stomach pain, as these may indicate liver-related side effects.
