Uses of Onecan 150 Tablet are:

• Vaginal and Oral Thrush: Treats vaginal yeast infections and fungal infections of the mouth and throat.
• Skin Fungal Infections: Treats fungal infections of the skin such as ringworm.
• Systemic Fungal Infections: Treats serious fungal infections, such as cryptococcal meningitis, at higher doses under medical supervision.

To take Onecan 150 Tablet 8 properly, follow these instructions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• It can be taken with or without food.
• It's crucial not to stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Onecan 150 Tablet 8 contains fluconazole (150 mg), which acts on your body in the following ways:

• Cytochrome P450 enzyme inhibition: Fluconazole works by inhibiting an enzyme in fungi called cytochrome P450 14α-demethylase. This enzyme is responsible for converting lanosterol to ergosterol.
• Disruption of fungal cell membrane: Fluconazole disrupts the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of the fungal cell membrane, by inhibiting the conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol.
• Inhibition of fungal growth: This action causes an increase in the permeability of the fungal cell membrane, leading to a loss of essential cellular components and thus inhibiting fungal growth.
