Omeeforce 20 Capsule 20

Omeeforce-20 Capsule is used for managing the following conditions:

• Heartburn and other symptoms related to gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

• Short-term management of erosive esophagitis, which is inflammation of the esophagus due to acid-mediated GERD

• Maintaining healing of erosive esophagitis

• Managing active duodenal and gastric ulcers

• Eradicating the bacteria Helicobacter pylori to decrease chances of duodenal ulcer recurrence, when used with antibiotics

• Long-term management of pathological hypersecretory conditions like Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, where the stomach produces too much acid.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid breaking, chewing or opening the capsule.

• Always take this medicine before meals for optimal effect.

• If you have difficulty swallowing the capsule, it can be opened and the contents sprinkled on applesauce.

• Remember not to take more than your doctor has advised.

• It's essential not to stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Omeeforce-20 Capsule is taken orally.

Omeeforce-20 Capsule contains Omeprazole (20mg), which works on your body in several ways:

• Inhibition of H+/K+ ATPase: Omeprazole inhibits an enzyme system called H+/K+ ATPase (the proton pump) at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cell. This enzyme plays a key role in forming gastric acid inside your body.

• Reduction of Gastric Acidity: By blocking the activity of H+/K+ ATPase, omeprazole effectively reduces gastric acidity levels. This provides relief from acid-related symptoms and allows esophageal and gastric lesions to heal.

• Store Omeeforce-20 Capsule in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Keep the medicine in its original packaging to protect it from moisture.

• Make sure it's out of reach of children.

• Don't use the medicine past its expiry date.

• If you're managing heartburn or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), avoid spicy, fatty, and acidic foods that can trigger symptoms.
