Normaxin Tablet 10

Normaxin Tablet is used in the following conditions:

• Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS): This tablet relieves abdominal pain, cramps, and anxiety, common symptoms of IBS, by relaxing gut muscles and addressing nervous tension.
• Peptic ulcers: Normaxin Tablet also helps alleviate pain and discomfort associated with peptic ulcers by reducing muscle spasms, excessive acid secretion, and anxiety.
• Acute enterocolitis: The symptoms like abdominal pain, cramps, and diarrhoea due to acute enterocolitis can also be alleviated with this tablet.

• Swallow the whole Normaxin Tablet with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change your tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

Normaxin Tablet should be taken orally.

Normaxin Tablet contains the following components:

• Clidinium (2.5 mg): It is an antisecretory and antispasmodics agent that helps to reduce gastrointestinal spasms. It blocks certain receptors in the digestive system that help to relieve cramping and pain. Clidinium also reduces stomach acid production and can aid in managing peptic ulcers.
• Chlordiazepoxide (5 mg): It is a benzodiazepine medication with anxiety-reducing, sedative, and muscle-relaxant properties. It helps alleviate anxiety associated with gastrointestinal problems. 
• Dicyclomine (10 mg): It also belongs to the antisecretory and antispasmodics class of medications. It relaxes the smooth muscles in the gastrointestinal tract to alleviate abdominal pain, cramps, and spasms.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC in a dry place.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Normaxin Tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Follow a low-FODMAP diet, which is specially designed to alleviate IBS. It limits certain fermentable carbohydrates. Gradually reintroduce foods to identify triggers. 
• Opt for smaller and frequent meals instead of large ones. It can help ease digestion and prevent overloading the stomach.
• Chew your food thoroughly to aid digestion and reduce the workload on your digestive system.
• Consume foods rich in probiotics, like yoghurt or kefir. It can promote a healthy gut microbiome and aid in digestion.
• Chew on fennel seeds or drink fennel tea to relieve bloating and gas.
• Place a warm compress on your abdomen to relax muscles and alleviate pain from muscle spasms.
