Nax-B Gel is used for managing the following conditions:

• Reducing inflammation and unclogging pores in moderate acne vulgaris

• Targeting Propionibacterium acnes, the bacteria causing acne

• Managing both inflammatory (papules and pustules) and non-inflammatory (comedones) acne lesions

Here's how you can use Nax-B Gel:

• Ensure your skin is clean and dry before application.

• Gently wash your face with a non-medicated cleanser, rinse with warm water, and pat dry.

• Apply a pea-sized amount of the gel on each affected area - forehead, chin, nose, and cheeks. Spread it gently and evenly.

• Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the gel to avoid spreading the gel to other areas.

Nax-B Gel is applied topically.

Nax-B Gel contains two active ingredients that work together:

• Clindamycin (2.5%): This lincosamide antibiotic works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. It binds to certain parts of susceptible bacteria, slowing their growth and reducing acne inflammation.

• Benzoyl Peroxide (1%): This ingredient acts as an oxidising agent. It produces free oxygen radicals that interact with bacterial proteins in Propionibacterium acnes, the bacteria involved in causing acne. This interaction reduces the presence of P. acnes and unclogs pores by drying and peeling the skin.

These two components work together in Nax-B Gel to manage acne effectively while minimising systemic absorption and reducing the chance of antibiotic resistance in P. acnes.

• Store Nax-B Gel in a refrigerator at a temperature between 2°C to 8°C.

• Keep the tube tightly closed, protecting it from light and air exposure.

• Keep out of reach of children.
