Fusirose Lotion is used to treat bacterial skin infections by stopping bacteria from multiplying on the skin. It contains fusidic acid, and clears infection-related redness, swelling, pus and irritation, allowing healthy skin tissue to recover.
Fusidic acid works by stopping bacteria from producing the proteins they need to grow and multiply, which allows the body's own defences to clear the infection.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area two to three times daily, or as your doctor advises, and continue for the full course even if the skin appears to have improved.
Avoid spraying or applying near the eyes, mouth or open wounds beyond the area being treated. Tell your doctor if the infection does not improve within the expected time, or if it spreads or worsens.
