Myospaz Forte Tablet 10

Myospaz Forte Tablet is used to relieve pain, swelling and muscle stiffness together, helping ease discomfort linked to joint conditions, injury and recovery after surgery.

Uses of Myospaz Forte Tablet are:

• Muscle Spasm and Stiffness: Relaxes muscles and eases pain linked to spasm.
• Joint and Bone Pain: Relieves pain and inflammation in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
• Post-Surgical and Injury Pain: Eases pain and discomfort after surgery or injury.

• Swallow the Myospaz Forte Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change your tablet dose or take them more often than prescribed.

Myospaz Forte Tablet is taken orally.

Myospaz Forte Tablet contains the following ingredients:

• Chlorzoxazone (500 mg): It is a muscle relaxant that acts on the spinal cord and certain brain areas to stop reflexes that cause muscle spasms. This helps reduce muscle spasms, relieve pain, and improve movement. 
• Diclofenac potassium (50 mg): It is an NSAID that inhibits the cyclooxygenase-2 enzyme, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins. These chemical messengers are key to inflammation, pain, and fever. By blocking the action of cyclooxygenases-2 enzyme, diclofenac potassium reduces the inflammation, pain, and fever associated with musculoskeletal disorders, joint pain, and injuries. 
• Paracetamol (325 mg): It is an analgesic and antipyretic agent. It inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the brain to lower fever and reduce pain.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Myospaz Forte Tablet away from children.

• Perform gentle stretches to improve flexibility and prevent muscle stiffness. Avoid overstretching, especially if you have an injury.
• Elevate the affected area and rest to minimise strain on muscles.
• Gentle massages with warm oils can help relax muscles and improve circulation.
• Soak in a warm Epsom salt bath to relax muscles and reduce inflammation.
• You may apply a warm compress or ice pack to affected areas for relief from muscle spasms.
• Choose comfortable, supportive shoes to minimise the impact on joints and muscles.
• Maintain a healthy weight to alleviate stress on joints, which is particularly important for conditions like arthritis.
