Amoxicillin (500 Mg) + Clavulanic Acid (125 Mg)

Moxal CV 625 Tablet 10 is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It is a combination medicine containing amoxicillin, a penicillin-type antibiotic, and clavulanic acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects amoxicillin from breakdown by bacterial enzymes.

This medicine is used for respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia and bronchitis, ear, nose and throat infections like otitis media, urinary tract infections like cystitis, and skin and soft tissue infections. It is also effective for dental infections, bone and joint infections, and genital infections including gonorrhoea, and works with other medicines to help eradicate Helicobacter pylori linked with peptic ulcers. Clavulanic Acid (125 mg): Acting as a beta-lactamase inhibitor, clavulanic acid protects amoxicillin from being broken down by bacterial enzymes known as beta-lactamases. This enhances the effectiveness of amoxicillin against bacteria that produce these enzymes.
