Administer Gulfadryl Syrup appropriately with these guidelines:

• Measure the required quantity of syrup using a provided measuring spoon or cup.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

• This medicine contains sugar, so if you have diabetes, consult your doctor before taking it.

• It is important not to exceed 12 tablespoons within a 24-hour period.

Gulfadryl Syrup contains a combination of active ingredients that work together to alleviate cough and allergy symptoms:

• Diphenhydramine (14.08 mg): As an antihistamine, diphenhydramine blocks H1 histamine receptors in your body, lowering allergy symptoms like sneezing and itching. It also possesses anticholinergic properties that assist in drying up secretions.

• Ammonium Chloride (138 mg): This component acts as an expectorant. It increases the pH of mucus, making it less sticky and easier to expel.

• Sodium Citrate (57.03 mg): This ingredient helps adjust the pH of the syrup for optimal taste and stability, while its mild expectorant property enhances the mucus-loosening effect of ammonium chloride.

• Menthol (1.14 mg): When swallowed, menthol creates a cooling sensation in the throat and nasal passages, providing relief from minor throat irritation and cough. It also has mild local anaesthetic and decongestant properties.

• Keep Gulfadryl Syrup at room temperature, preferably below 30°C.

• Shield the syrup from direct light and heat sources to maintain its effectiveness.
