Mount 10 Tablet 10 is used to manage asthma and allergic conditions.

Uses of Mount 10 Tablet 10 are:

• Asthma: Helps prevent and manage asthma symptoms.
• Allergic rhinitis: Relieves sneezing, a runny nose and itching caused by seasonal or year-round allergies.
• Exercise-induced breathing difficulty: Helps prevent narrowing of the airways triggered by exercise.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• The medicine should be taken regularly, even during menstrual periods without symptoms, to get the most benefit.
• If you need to exercise, take one dose at least two hours before you start.
• Never alter your dose or stop taking this medicine without first consulting your doctor.

Mount 10 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Mount 10 Tablet 10 contains montelukast (10 mg), which works on your body in the following ways:

• CysLT1 Receptor Inhibition: Montelukast selectively inhibits CysLT1 receptors, which are involved in producing substances that cause airway muscles to tighten and mucus and fluid to be produced in the lungs.
• Anti-inflammatory Effect: By blocking these CysLT1 receptors, montelukast reduces inflammation in the airways, thereby helping prevent asthma symptoms and allergic rhinitis.

It's important to note that montelukast is not a bronchodilator and does not provide immediate relief from acute asthma attacks.

• Regular aerobic exercise can improve lung function; however, take care to warm up slowly and cool down after to prevent exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.
