• Insulin or anti-diabetic medicines: When taken with insulin, glimepiride or pioglitazone, Glycoex 80 Vm Tablet 10 may increase the risk of hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar).

• Corticosteroids: Medicines like prednisolone and dexamethasone can reduce the blood sugar-lowering effect of Glycoex 80 Vm Tablet 10.

• Diuretics: Water tablets like furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide may affect kidney function, increasing the risk of lactic acidosis when taken with Glycoex 80 Vm Tablet 10.

• Thyroid medicines: Levothyroxine and liothyronine may alter blood glucose levels when used alongside Glycoex 80 Vm Tablet 10.

• Antibiotics: Certain antibiotics like ciprofloxacin and clarithromycin may interfere with the metabolism of gliclazide in Glycoex 80 Vm Tablet 10.

Glycoex 80 Vm Tablet 10 may interact with certain foods that affect blood sugar levels.

• Grapefruit juice: May increase the concentration of gliclazide in your bloodstream.

• High-carbohydrate foods: May reduce the effectiveness of voglibose in controlling post-meal glucose spikes.

• Kidney disease: Patients with impaired kidney function may experience increased metformin levels, raising the risk of lactic acidosis.

• Liver problems: Reduced liver function can affect the metabolism of gliclazide, potentially causing hypoglycaemia.
