Migrabeta-TR 40 Tablet is used to prevent migraine headaches, reduce essential tremors, manage high blood pressure, prevent angina (chest pain) and control certain irregular heart rhythms in adults.
It contains propranolol in a sustained-release form, a beta-blocker. Swallow the tablet whole with water as prescribed, at the same time each day. Do not stop it suddenly, as abrupt withdrawal can cause a rebound rise in blood pressure, chest pain or heart rate.
A regular sleep schedule, stress management, staying well hydrated and identifying and avoiding your personal migraine triggers all support migraine prevention alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any breathing problems, as it can worsen asthma or COPD. Also mention a slow heart rate, heart failure, diabetes or Raynaud's phenomenon. It can mask the warning signs of low blood sugar. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
