Microcid Capsule is used to manage moderate to severe pain and inflammation associated with inflammatory joint and musculoskeletal conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout and ankylosing spondylitis.
It contains indomethacin, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain, swelling and stiffness by blocking the production of inflammatory chemicals in the body. Take it exactly as prescribed, preferably with food, to reduce stomach irritation.
Resting the affected joint and applying a warm compress can help ease discomfort alongside this medicine, along with gentle movement as tolerated.
Caution is advised in people with stomach, kidney or heart-related conditions. Tell your doctor about any of these before starting, and report persistent stomach pain, black stools or swelling promptly.
