Met Innovfol Tablet 10

Met-Innovfol Tablet is used in the long-term management of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) in women.

Uses of Met-Innovfol Tablet are:

• Ovulation Support: Supports regular ovulation, improving fertility and reproductive health.
• Insulin Resistance: Helps reduce insulin resistance associated with PCOS.
• Hormone Balance: Helps support hormone balance in women with PCOS.
• Nutrient Support: Addresses nutrient deficiencies that can contribute to PCOS symptoms.

• Swallow the tablet whole with some water. Avoid crushing or chewing it.
• It's best to take this medicine with meals.
• Stick to your doctor's advised dose; do not exceed it without consulting your doctor first.
• Even if your symptoms improve, continue taking this medicine until your doctor advises otherwise.

Met-Innovfol Tablet is taken orally.

Met-Innovfol Tablet comprises the following components:

• D-chiro-inositol (13.8 mg): This natural isomer of inositol improves insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism by enhancing the signalling of insulin receptors. This leads to better glucose uptake and reduced insulin resistance.
• Myo-inositol (550 mg): A naturally occurring form of inositol, it plays a similar role to D-chiro-inositol in improving insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism.
• Metformin (500 mg): As a biguanide antidiabetic medicine, metformin helps improve insulin sensitivity and reduce glucose production in the liver. It activates an enzyme called AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), which regulates cellular energy balance along with glucose and lipid metabolism.
• L-methylfolate (0.5 mg): The biologically active form of folate or vitamin B9 supports normal ovulation and reduces the risk of neural tube defects during pregnancy by aiding proper cell division, DNA synthesis, and homocysteine metabolism.
• Methylcobalamin (750 mcg): This active form of vitamin B12 works in conjunction with L-methylfolate to support normal ovulation and reduce the risk of neural tube defects in pregnancy through proper cell division, DNA synthesis, and homocysteine metabolism.

• Keep Met-Innovfol Tablet in a tightly closed container.
• Store at a temperature between 20°C and 25°C.
• Protect from moisture and light exposure.
